Homeschooling starts different for each of us. Some are proactive and choose home education from the onset, however most of us come into this new world because the school system failed our children.

We can be tempted here to blame the less than ideal experience of schooling our children received on the structure, plan, use of curriculum and schedule. Let them just play and take it day by day, is the popular remedy to every home schooling dilemma on social media. I propose a more intentional and moderate strategy that will power you as the parent to lead your children to educational success.

  1. Start with the end in mind. Think about the ideal scenario when your children are grow-up and ready to start a life of their own. Use 5 adjectives to describe how you would like them to be:  confident,
